The PAS (Parental Alienation Syndrome) is a "disease" addressed primarily to women and was coined by an American psychiatrist named Richard Gardner who called it "a disorder that arises almost exclusively in the context of child custody disputes. In this disorder, a parent (transferor) activates a program of denigration against the other parent (alienated).
